Convicted sex offender on the run after failing to report new home address

September 30, 2017

EAGLE PASS, Texas - Police are asking for the public's help in locating a convicted sex offender who previously resided in Eagle Pass.

Mario Morales, 41, a now San Antonio resident, was forced to register as a sex offender in late 2014 after a district court found him guilty of indecency with a child, police said.  In that same year, he reported living in a local address. Three months later, however, he reported a change of address to one in Bexar County.

Morales is described as being 5 feet 3 inches, weights about 152 pounds, and has black in color hair and brown in color eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at 210-657-8500. Calls may remain anonymous upon request.
