Hundreds attend MCJLS's Cowboy Breakfast

EAGLE PASS, Maverick County, Texas -- More than 600 people, both public figures and local residents, participated in this year's Maverick County Jr. Livestock Show traditional 5th Annual Chuy Sancehz Memorial Cowboy Breakfast that was held from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Zan Matthies Show Barn located behind the Maverick County Lake. 


Among the public officials and figures who attended were Maverick County Judge David R. Saucedo, County Commsioners Rosy Cantu, Jerry Morales and Roberto Ruiz, Constable Mario Hernandez, EPISD School Board President Lupita Fuentes, Candidate for District Judge Cecilia Mascorro, EPISD School Board trustee and Candidate for County Judge Rudy Bowles, Former Councilwoman and Candidate for District Judge Maribel Flores, and State Rep. Poncho Nevarez. 


The MCJLS festivities continue tomorrow Wednesday, Jan. 24, with the 2018 Stock Show Animal Weighing and exhibit.
