EAGLE PASS - An Eagle Pass woman landed behind bars with a drug possession charge after Police say she crashed into a light pole Saturday morning.
Emily Garza, 31, is facing one charge of possession of a controlled substance and one charge of driving under the influence, the Maverick County Sheriff's Office said Monday afternoon.
The sheriff's office said Garza was driving south on Veterans Blvd when she lost control of her vehicle and collided with a light pole.
Deputies at the scene searched the woman's belongings and discovered two small bags containing cocaine.
Garza was booked at the Tom Bowles Detention Center.
