EAGLE PASS - A Louisiana man accused of killing his wife in Baton Rouge was taken into custody in Eagle Pass after Mexican officials apprehended him and turned him over to their U.S. counterparts for criminal processing.

EAGLE PASS - Oscar Lozada has been taken into custody and is awaiting extradition to Louisiana, WBRZ learned Friday.
Lozada is charged with murder related to the death of his wife, Sylviane, in July 2011.
Sylviane Lozada is presumed dead, although her remains have never been found. In an arrest warrant filed for her husband Thursday in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s detectives said Oscar Lozada killed his wife. The couple had a history of domestic abuse, family friends told WBRZ.
The arrest warrant describes a bloody crime scene. Oscar Lozada purchased bags of concrete and buckets with locking lids before his wife disappeared, leading to suspicions that her remains may have been dismembered and dumped somewhere... click here for the full story.
