EAGLE PASS, TEXAS.- A red 2014 Hunday Elantra car was stolen from the garage of a home on Alamo Street in the Chula Vista sector south of Eagle Pass.
Roberto de León, deputy chief of the Maverick County Sheriff, said the owner reported that he did not know who took his car, which was properly parked on his property.
The theft occurred on Sunday afternoon and until now the car has not been recovered.
The Sheriff's Department asks the population to lock the cars, not leave valuables inside, all this to prevent thefts, since the criminals are ready to take advantage of any opportunity.
With this, there are already 3 cases of car theft so far this year in Eagle Pass.
Last week a Chevrolet pickup truck was stolen from the La Quinta Hotel parking lot on Main Street and now this Hunday Elantra car, and they have not been recovered.
